Travis Head has blown hot and cold so far in the IPL 2025 season, starting off with an explosive 67 against the Rajasthan Royals before failing to produce a single match-winning knock in his next three outings. In a bid to put his campaign back on the right course, the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) opener will be aiming to go big against Gujarat Titans on Sunday, April 6 in match number 19 of the tournament.

Head has accrued 140 runs from four innings so far in IPL 2025 at an average of 35. While the cricketer has maintained a staggering strike rate of 191.78, he has punched out scores of just four and 22 in his last two innings. Nonetheless, Travis Head is now primed to scale a few huge batting records and milestones. Ahead of SRH’s upcoming home game against the Titans, here is a look at all the records Head can achieve in the much-awaited contest.

1. On The Verge Of 1,000 IPL Runs

Travis Head made his IPL debut back in 2016 for the RCB. To date, the cricketer has featured in 29 games spanning four different seasons for two different franchises. Tallying 912 runs at an average of 36.48 in the process, the blistering left-hander needs just 88 more runs to complete 1,000 runs in the IPL. In doing so, Head will become the 15th Australian cricketer to get to the landmark figure, joining the likes of Steve Smith, David Warner, Michael Hussey, Matthew Hayden, Shane Watson, Adam Gilchrist among others.

2. Four Sixes Away From 50 IPL Sixes

Travis Head has so far launched 46 maximums in his 29-match IPL career. With four more hits, the Australian cricketer will complete 50 sixes in the IPL. Notably, Head tallied 32 of those sixes back during the IPL 2024 season last year alone.

3. Five Fours Away From 100 IPL Fours

Travis Head is also just five boundaries away from completing 100 fours in the IPL. Since his debut, the left-hander has smashed 95 fours in 29 innings. Back in IPL 2024 last season, he clattered 64 boundaries as part of his astonishing 567-run tally.

4. Just One Away From 50 T20 Sixes In India

While Travis Head has listed 46 maximums in the IPL, the cricketer has also launched three additional maximums in Indian conditions while playing T20 internationals for Australia. With 49 sixes in his register, Head needs just one more maximum to complete 50 T20 sixes in India.

5. 200 Sixes In T20 Cricket

In terms of his overall T20 portfolio, Travis Head has belted 194 sixes in 146 T20 innings spanning 150 matches. While he has smeared 53 of those sixes in T20Is for Australia, Head has accrued 61 maximums for the Adelaide Strikers in the BBL. With six more sixes, he will complete 200 maximums in his T20 career.
