The English team seems to have already embarked on a non-stop cricketing journey across all international formats, at least for until the next 20 months. 

Shortly after hosting Pakistan for a four-match T20I series at home in May and subsequently playing the 2024 T20 World Cup in the West Indies in June, England engaged in a three-match Test rubber at home against the visiting West Indies team.

As per England’s itinerary up until March 2026, they seem to have their task cut out with little breathing space left between any two series.

ENG’s jam-packed schedule reveals hectic 20 months ahead

Soon after hosting West Indies in a three-match Test series at home in July, England will entertain Sri Lanka for another three Tests in August and September.

A hectic 20-month itinerary from the conclusion of the 2024 T20 World Cup until the launch of the 2026 event indicates a jam-packed schedule for the English team, leaving little-to-no breathing space for their all-format players to make repeated appearances.

Here is a look at England’s all-format schedule from August 2024 till March 2026:

As of now, the England cricket team is hosting West Indies for a three-match Test series. With convincing wins in the first two Tests, Ben Stokes and co. went 2-0 up in the series and will now travel to Birmingham for the final match.

Last month, a Jos Buttler-led England team crashed in the semifinal of the 2024 T20 World Cup in the West Indies at the hands of Team India to concede their defending champion’s tag.
