It's a momentous occasion as Royal Challengers Bangalore clinch their first WPL title. Their victory was a testament to their collective strength, with Ellyse Perry's stellar all-round performance playing a pivotal role in their maiden title win.

The RCB skipper started the tournament on a great note with the bat. While Smriti Mandhana's form went cold as the tournament progressed, she played some match-winning knocks in the initial stages, giving them the impetus to make their way into the summit clash of the tournament. In the final Mandhana played a perfect knock in a small chase and ensured the team's victory. 

Mandhana showed great evolution in her leading skills from the previous edition. She marshalled her troops well, read the conditions perfectly and used the horses for the courses leading a jinxed-franchise to their first ever title.

The DC-skipper was one of the prime stays of the team's batting. Meg Lanning laid the foundation for her team in most matches and propelled them to significant wins. 

In addition to her batting, Lanning led her team with excellent strategic insight and took them to the tournament final. She finds a spot in the team as the second opener.

The Australian superstar carried the team on her shoulders with her all-round show to the final. Ellyse Perry delivered with the bat in crunch situations and also bowled a match-winning spell against Mumbai Indians in a game where they needed to win to stay alive in the tournament. 

In the final, Perry used all her experience and batted till the end to take RCB across the line.

Harmanpreet Kaur [Mumbai Indians]

The MI-skipper was in fine form with the bat in the tournament. Harmanpreet played an ageless T20 knock against the Gujarat Giants. Barring that knock, Kaur repeatedly delivered for her team and scored crucial runs. 

Jemimah Rodrigues [Delhi Capitals]

Matches: 9 Runs: 235 Avg: 39.16 Strike Rate: 153.59

The Indian middle-order batter was in a golden touch throughout the tournament. Jemimah Rodrigues played an impactful role whenever she came out to bat. Her presence in the middle order gave the openers to express themselves at the beginning of the innings. Jemimah was pivotal to Delhi's success this season.

The Indian wicketkeeper was a real asset for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the tournament. Richa Ghosh played some game-changing knocks in the middle order and was responsible for several vital wins. Also, Ghosh had the best performance as a wicketkeeper in the tournament and thus easily entered this team.

Deepti Sharma [UP Warriorz]

One of the biggest positives for the UP Warriorz in the tournament was Deepti Sharma. Though she started the tournament cold, Sharma picked up form as the tournament progressed. She was able to play a pivotal role with both the bat and the ball and is an ideal presence in the middle order, providing flexibility to both disciplines of the team. 

Marizanne Kapp [Delhi Capitals] ✈️

The South African all-rounder with the new ball was an asset for the Delhi Capitals. She provided regular wickets up top, giving the team a significant advantage in most matches. Marizanne Kapp played a couple of important knocks lower down the order, getting an obvious spot in the game.

Shreyanka Patil did not have the ideal start to the tournament, as she failed to pick up wickets regularly in the earlier games. However, she peaked at the right time and bowled some crucial spells, especially her efficiency in the final led RCB to their maiden title. Patil finished the tournament as the highest wicket-taker. 

Tanuja Kanwer [Gujarat Giants]

The Indian left-arm spinner has been one of the biggest revelations of the tournament. Tanuja Kanwer picked up wickets regularly, which will boost the team's bowling lineup.
