WI vs ENG 5th T20I: England aim to sign off with a win

England rammed West Indies to take a 3-0 unshakable lead in the 5-game series. However, in the 4th T20I, the hosts clinched a 5 wicket victory. Shai Hope and Evin Lewis hammered a 136-run opening partnership. After Hope got run out, Rovman Powell hit 38 off 23 balls to wrap up a successful chase with 6 balls to spare. With that, England’s hopes of a whitewash were dashed. However, they still have the series at their helm and will look to aim to finish the tour on a high. A couple of changes might be enforced due to workload concerns.

WI vs ENG 5th T20I: West Indies gets reprieve in tough series

After getting hammered in 3 straight games, West Indies fought back in the 4th T20I held on November 16. In a challenging chase of 219 runs, the opening pair of Evin Lewis and Shai Hope showed courage to slam a 136-run partnership. They sailed through it despite losing a couple of wickets in the middle. Rutherford and Powell added finishing touches to help the Windies seal a 5-wicket emphatic victory.

West Indies are still fighting a lost battle, as they lost the series a while ago. The 4th T20I victory was a mere consolation prize for the fans. Hence, for the finale, the hosts will hope for a similar result to cap off the forgetful series on a high. Since this combination won them the previous contest, Rovman Powell is unlikely to make any changes, except for a late injury concern.

WI vs ENG 5th T20I: Pitch report

The Daren Sammy Stadium situated batters in the 4th T20I as a total of 400 runs were scored in the game. Hence, the pitch is likely to remain the same with pacers forced to toil hard. Another high scoring game in on the cards with spinners being an X factor due to significant grip and turn. The average first inning score is 148 and chasing will be relatively easier.
