When we are talking about Mumbai Indians, we certainly can't exclude the two biggest-ever sportspersons to have emerged from the land.

An opening combination of Rohit Sharma and the legendary Sachin Tendulkar ensures a solid start for the team and is, therefore, the most ideal one to have in the setup.

Statistically, Rohit has recorded the most runs for MI with 4709 runs, including 32 fifties, and will obviously lead the side because of his astounding success as their leader.

Meanwhile, Tendulkar is the second most successful opener for MI, garnering 2334 runs at an average of 34.84.

Number 3 and 4: Suryakumar Yadav, Ambati Rayudu

There shouldn't be any doubt whatsoever for the number 3 batter's role, as Suryakumar Yadav has stamped his authority at that position for the team in last few years.

Regarded as India's Mr 360, Yadav has compiled 20306 runs for Mumbai at a blistering strike rate of 138.72.

Furthermore, he was an integral part of the MI team that emerged triumphant in the IPL 2020.

Meanwhile, the number four position rightly belongs to Ambati Rayudu, who helped MI clinch three titles between 2010 and 2017. Overall, he is the third-highest run-getter in the franchise's history with 2416 runs, including 14 half centuries.

Finishers: Hardik Pandya, Kieron Pollard and Krunal Pandya

Hardik Pandya, Kieron Pollard and Krunal Pandya are locked at number 5, 6 and 7 respectively, as they have helped MI clinch five titles during their stint with the franchise.

While Pollard holds the record for the second most runs (3412) for Mumbai, Hardik (1476 runs, 42 wickets) and Krunal (1143 runs, 51 wickets) were prolific contributors with both bat and ball.

More importantly, the dynamic trio have scripted many iconic victories for the franchise and hence make it into the team.

Lead Spinner: Harbhajan Singh

One of the finest ever tweakers to grace the game, Harbhajan Singh was bagged by Mumbai Indians in the inaugural IPL auction.

The legendary spinner proved his mettle with the ball throughout his association with the franchise, scalping 127 wickets at a superb economy of 6.99.

He was instrumental in MI's title winning campaigns in 2013, 2015 and 2017, claiming 50 wickets in 45 appearances.

Meanwhile, Mitchell McClenaghan topples over Trent Boult and Mitchell Johnson for the third seamer's role due to his impressive numbers. Overall, the Kiwi pacer is the fifth most successful bowler for MI with 71 wickets at an amazing strike rate of 17.9 in 56 outings.
