On Tuesday, May 27, South Africa A locked horns against Bangladesh A in the 2nd unofficial Test at the Shere Bangla Stadium in Mirpur. Notably, on day two of the match, ugly scenes unfolded as the players of two teams got involved in an ugly fight.
Notably, the two concerned players were South Africa's Tshepo Ntuli and Bangladesh's Ripon Mondol. The incident occurred when Bangladesh batter Ripon Mondol hit Ntuli for a straight six. Meanwhile, a few words were exchanged between Ripon and Ntuli and the South Africa bowler angrily charged towards the Bangladeshi player.
Usually, the players end up in a verbal spat, but this time it was different as the two players were involved in a physical fight. Matters got ugly as the umpires had to intervene and separate the two players. Watch the video below shared by a journalist:

As reported by ESPN Cricinfo, the on-field referees will submit a report about the incident to CSA and BCB, and a strict action is likely to be taken against the two players. It is also worth noting that it is not the first time in this series that tempers flared on-field as a similar incident occurred during the ODI series where Andile Simelane and Jishan Alam received suspension following incidents between them.
Talking about the ongoing match, Bangladesh A, batting first, tumbled for 371 runs. In reply, South Africa emerging side are 152/6 after 42.3 overs.
