Suryakumar, Rinku & Axar Rested, Tilak Returns; Here's India's Playing XI For 5th T20I Vs Australia

On Sunday, India will be up against Australia in the final T20I of the ongoing five-match series at the iconic M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Having won three of the four games, India have taken an unassailable 3-1 lead in the series. Therefore, this game gives Australia a golden opportunity to finish the series on a high note by thumping the host nation.

As India have already claimed the series, they might tinker with their playing XI to provide some game time to the players, who have warmed the bench so far.

While the dynamic duo of Yashasvi Jaiswal and Ruturaj Gaikwad will likely open, India might rest Suryakumar Yadav, bringing Tilak Varma back into the playing XI. Shreyas Iyer will lead the home team if Surya doesn't feature in this match.

Swashbuckling finisher Rinku Singh has been impressive in this series, amassing 99 runs at a blistering strike rate of 190.38.

However, as India have won the series, they might rest the explosive batter for this game, replacing him with Shivam Dube, who can be their sixth bowling option on Bengaluru's placid batting deck.

Furthermore, the Men in Blue could replace Axar Patel with Washington Sundar, who is yet to play a match in this series. Axar had an outstanding day with the ball in the fourth T20I, helping India secure a clinical win through a spectacular three-wicket haul.

The rest of the bowling department might be the same as the fourth match, with Deepak Chahar, Ravi Bishnoi, Avesh Khan and Mukesh Kumar likely to form India's bottom four.
