Tanveer Sangha 'Outfoxes' Ruturaj Gaikwad With A Deceptive Delivery

Riding on bowlers' impressive outing, Australia have pushed India to the back foot in the ongoing fourth T20I in Raipur. After opting to bowl first, Australia had a disastrous start, with Ruturaj Gaikwad and Yashasvi Jaiswal forming a quick-fire stand for the opening wicket. However, Jaiswal's wicket opened the floodgates for the hosts, as Shreyas Iyer and Suryakumar Yadav departed in quick succession.

Gaikwad tried to consolidate the innings alongside Rinku Singh, but his attempts went in vain as soon as Tanveer Sangha got rid of him in the 14th over.

After India lost their third wicket, Gaikwad and Rinku formed a fighting 48-run stand before the former became Sangha's second victim. It was a flighted delivery outside the off stump, inviting the CSK star for a lofted shot. He went for an aerial inside out shot only to edge it and hand a simple catch to Ben Dwarshuis, stationed at backward point.

After Gaikwad got out, keeper-batter Jitesh Sharma joined the middle to steady the ship alongside Rinku Singh. The duo completed a scintillating 50-run stand in just 29 balls, ensuring a fitting finish for the Indian team. As of writing, India are 161 for four, with Rinku and Jitesh batting on 46* and 29*, respectively.
