The Champions Trophy 2025 squad selection is around the corner. All the teams need to announce their squad for the tournament by 12th January. Quite a few rumours and speculations are going on in the news about India's probable selection.

Mumbai Indians have been one of the IPL teams that has given the Indian team quite a few talents. With the CT 2025 squad selection knocking at the doors, here is a look at three players from MI's IPL 2025 squad who could make the headlines during the CT 2025 selection.

3. Suryakumar Yadav

Suryakumar Yadav is considered the best in the business when it comes to batting in the T20 format. However, he has not been in India's ODI scheme recently. However, BCCI has often regarded SKY's talent highly and included him in the squad for important tournaments. Therefore, Suryakumar Yadav could be one of those surprise inclusions in India's squad for the Champions Trophy 2025.

2. Hardik Pandya

There have been speculations about whether India will take Hardik Pandya to the Champions Trophy 2025. Some of the fans believe that Nitish Reddy, India's newest all-round sensation, could be a better inclusion on the side. However, given Pandya's match-winning abilities with both the bat and the ball and his experience, there is little chance that Pandya will be excluded from the side.

The Indian ODI and Test skipper has not been in the best of batting forms recently. However, one must remember that his effectiveness has gone down in the purest format of the game. Rohit Sharma is still an impactful batter in the limited-overs, and he proved it during India's championship run in the T20 World Cup 2024. So, despite the baseless rumours of India changing the captain of the ODI team and resting Rohit for the tournament, his staying in the role will be one of the headlines of India's Champions Trophy 2025 squad reveal.
