The 21st match of the ongoing third edition of the International League T20 will be played between SWR and GG in Sharjah on Sunday. Second match of a second consecutive double-header day will witness both the teams taking the field on both days.
Sharjah Warriors
Playing their sixth match at the time of writing this piece, Sharjah Warriorz have won two and lost three out of their first five matches. As a result, they find themselves in the lower half of the points table. Having won two matches in a row, it wouldn’t be a surprise if SWR end up losing the ongoing match as well.
Gulf Giants
If Warriors are at the fifth position, Giants have occupied the bottommost sixth position on the table. A solitary win in their first five matches has put them in a massive spot of bother. Scheduled to lock horns against second-placed MI Emirates in Abu Dhabi tonight, another loss will further dampen the mood in Gulf Giants' camp.

Sharjah Cricket Stadium: Is It Batting Or Bowling Friendly?
The only two ILT20 2025 innings totals in excess of 200 have come in Sharjah. Additionally, the top two highest successful chases have also happened here. In fact, out of the three venues for this season, four out of the top 10 innings totals have come at this stadium. Therefore, it wouldn’t be wrong to call it a batting-friendly surface.
Historically, 153.6 is the average innings total across 164 T20s played at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. As far as the ongoing season is concerned, 171.14 is the average innings total at this venue.
