India and South Africa are all set for another T20 battle with the four-match T20I series set to start on November 8th in Durban. South Africa have brought back their big stars for this series while India have made some changes from their last series with likes of Nitish Reddy and Washington Sundar in the Test squad for Australia tour.
The Men in Blue still have plenty of quality in their arsenal and it would be interesting to see their combination for the opening game of the series. Abhishek Sharma and Sanju Samson are all set to open the innings again and it is an important series for the former after his failures against Bangladesh. For Sanju Samson, it is another opportunity to show his talent at the international stage and deliver some big performances.
Tilak Varma To Make His Comeback
Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya and Rinku Singh will form the core of the batting line-up and Tilak Varma will slot into the number four position in the absence of Nitish Reddy. Axar Patel will bat at number seven as a spin-bowling all-rounder while Varun Chakaravarthy is likely to get a nod over Ravi Bishnoi as a frontline spinner.
Arshdeep Singh, Avesh Khan and Yash Dayal are likely to be the three pacers in the XI. It means that Yash Dayal will finally make his debut for India and he would be looking to show his class on the international stage after a good IPL season. Overall, India look a balanced unit and expect them to come out with a strong performance in the opening game of the series.
