The stage is set for the second Test between Zimbabwe and Afghanistan from the Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo. After a lacklustre run-feast draw, the caravan takes place in the second game as both the teams will look to take the series win.

It was a batting paradise when the two teams met at the same venue in the first Test match. Almost 1300 combined runs were scored by both the sides and we are only talking about their respective first innings. The pitch turned out to be a graveyard for the bowlers as the match ended in a lacklustre draw.

There were a total of 6 centurions from both the teams and two of them went onto notch their respective double centuries as plenty of runs were scored and the bowlers found themselves helpless.

Queens Sports Club Bulawayo Pitch Report: Is It Batting Or Bowling Friendly?

It is going to be a batting paradise and will be a graveyard for the bowlers. As witnessed in the first Test, there was truckloads of runs scored and hardly any movement for the fast bowlers.

The two teams combined scored 1300-plus runs and the second innings barely started before the match was a drawn affair. With two double tons and four centuries in the last match, the batters had a great game and the conditions will remain the same for this game.

Bulawayo witnessed rain in the previous game and there are rain predictions for the next few days as well. Hence, in overcast conditions, seamers may get some help in the initial burst.
