PAK vs ZIM: What Happened When They Last Played A T20I?

Pakistan won the opening game of the series convincingly by 57 runs against Zimbabwe. Batting first, Pakistan managed to score 164/5 in 20 overs. Although Omair Yousuf (16) and Saim Ayub (24) gave good starts, it was Usman Khan's 39 off 30 and the late order contributions from Tayyab Tahir (39* off 25) and Irfan Khan (27* off 15) that put Pakistan in a winning position.

Zimbabwe's bowlers, Richard Ngarava and Sikandar Raza, took a wicket but could not stop the scoring. Zimbabwe began well, chasing 164, with a blistering 60-run powerplay, mainly due to Tadiwanashe Marumani (33 off 20) and Sikandar Raza (39). However, the loss of Marumani and the subsequent collapse saw Zimbabwe fall to 108 all out in 15.3 overs.

Pakistan's bowlers did the job for them, and Sufiyan Muqeem (3/20) and Abrar Ahmed (3/28) dismantled the Zimbabwean batting as they cruised to an easy win.
