Pakistan are currently in Zimbabwe for a white-ball tour and after an exciting ODI series, the focus now shifts to the shortest format of the game. It is a three-match T20I series, and Pakistan would be looking to deliver a strong performance after getting whitewashed by Australia in the same format.

Also, the visitors are without their big stars like Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi and Mohammad Rizwan, and it would be interesting to see how the young unit goes about its business. Agha Salman will lead the side in the absence of Mohammad Rizwan, and let's see what combination they will prefer for the first game at Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo.

The likes of Saim Ayub, Abrar Ahmed and Aamer Jamal are the late addition in the squad and we can expect atleast two of them to feature in the playing XI. Saim Ayub is likely to open batting with Sahibzada Farhan and both of them would be looking to showcase their aggressive intent. Haseebullah, Usman Khan and Agha Salman would form the core of the middle order and Pakistan need them to take more responsibility and fire in this series.

Pakistan To Play Two Frontline Spinners

The hard-hitting all-rounder Jahandad Khan would provide balance and firepower in the lower middle-order. He would play the third seamer in the squad as well, with Abbas Afridi and Haris Rauf playing as two frontline pacers. Their is a quality option of Mohammad Hasnain too, but he might miss out in this game.

Pakistan are also likely to go with two spinners in the XI which includes Abrar Ahmed, the mystery tweaker and Sufiyan Muqeem. The left-arm wrist spinner recently impressed against Australia and so he is likely to make an impact in this series too.
