Pakistan have defeated Zimbabwe in the decider of the three match series comfortably to win the trophy. The visitors won the toss and decided to bat first in the game. The Pakistani batters did a great job and posted a total that appeared to be beyond the Zimbabwean team.

Kamran Ghulam Played A Brilliant Knock In the Series Decider

Kamran Ghulam played a wonderful knock in the middle order and scored his maiden hundred added depth solidity and stability to the batting line-up. Asad Shafique also accompanied him and the duo laid the foundation for the team.

Tayyab Tahir played a great head in the lower order and helped the team go past the 300 mark. Pakistan posted 303/6 in their 50 overs. Sikandar Raza and Richard Ngarava both picked up two wickets each to be the most efficient bowlers of the team.

Williams Was Stunned By The Pace Of Haris Rauf

Zimbabwe in the chase struggled to get going as they lost wickets early. Craig Ervine was the only batter in the top order who came up with a resilient effort. He scored 51 runs off 63 deliveries. Sean Williams was accompanying him nicely but Haris Rauf's brilliance brought down curtains on his knock.

On the fifth delivery of the 18th over, Haris Rauf bowled a good length delivery just outside the off stump. Williams was looking to defend the ball but was beaten by the pace of the fast bowler. The ball clipped the bails of the batter's off stump and ended his stay in the middle.

The rest of the Zimbabwean batters failed to show much more resilience and the team was bundled out for 204 in 40.1 over. Pakistan won the match by 99 runs and with that they also took the series away.
