It's time for Super Sunday in IPL 2024 and in the day game, we have a high-octane encounter between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The battlefield will be iconic Eden Gardens and we can expect a lot of fireworks and some intense actions between two teams looking to grab those two crucial points.

The home team, KKR have won four out of their six games so far, while RCB are languishing at the bottom of the points table with just one win out of their seven games. However, KKR are coming into this game on the back of a heartbreaking loss against RR and would be itching to get back to winning ways.

So, there could be some tactical changes and one big one could be the inclusion of Nitish Rana back in the XI in place of Venkatesh Iyer. Nitish Rana played initial two games of IPL 2024, but got injured in the second game, and even though he is fit now, he has not been able to break into the side with young Angkrish Raghuvanshi showing his talent at number 3.

Venkatesh Iyer though looks out of his place lower down the order, and his only good knock this season has come at number 3. Rana, on the other hand, has the ability to bat anywhere in the batting order that makes him a better asset than Venkatesh Iyer for KKR.

There is an option of dropping Ramandeep Singh too, but the guy can bowl too, and has the ability to use the long handle to a good effect.  Rest of the batting line-up looks sorted with Sunil Narine doing the demolition job at the top of the order with great precision.

On the bowling front, they have been expensive at the death, and Chetan Sakariya might play in this game in place of Vaibhav Arora.

Overall, KKR have plenty of things going their way, and would be hoping to seize those crucial moments unlike the last game where they falter under pressure.
