In the 34th match of IPL 2024, he once again displayed his amazing skills on the field and took a blinder at point to end KL Rahul's classy knock of 82 off 53 balls.
It was the first delivery of the 18th over and Matheesha Pathirana bowled it short and wide outside off. KL Rahul who was batting beautifully played a fierce cut shot that seemed like it would race away towards the boundary line in flash. Ravindra Jadeja at point though had other plans as he plucked a stunning one-handed catch with his usual unfussed grace.

The catch stunned one and all on the ground including the CSK skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad and umpires on the ground also were probably shocked, and decided to take it to third umpire to check whether the catch was taken cleanly or not.
The replays eventually showed that it was a clean catch and Jadeja once again showed everyone, why he is rated so highly as a fielder in the cricketing universe.
