Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) batters started from where they left against the RCB team. Another demolition job was started by Sunil Narine as he took the attack to the DC bowlers.

The rejuvenated opener, Narine, added 60 runs for the first wicket with Phil Salt, however, the real carnage began when Angkrish Raghuvanshi joined Narine at the crease.

With a belter of a wicket and the momentum with KKR, Raghuvanshi joined the party and played some brilliant 360 degree strokes which mesmerised the fans.

Despite some breath-taking shots from Narine, the highlight of the partnership was the outrageous reverse-scoop that reminded fans of Suryakumar Yadav. Rasikh Salam, the DC bowler delivered a slower length ball outside the off. Angkrish waited for it and generated all the power to reverse-scoop it over the third man region for a massive six.

The shot stunned the DC camp and it brought a smile onto the face of the KKR dugout. Angkrish justified his selection in the KKR playing XI, as he notched up his maiden IPL fifty.

Talking about the match, it was the Narine special that bamboozled the DC attack. He scored a brilliant 85 off 39, and was well accompanied by Angkrish, who departed for a quick-fire 27-ball 54.
