Royal Challengers Bengaluru will lock horns with Kolkata Knight Riders in match 36 of the ongoing Indian Premier League season. Led by Faf du Plessis, the Royal Challengers have had a forgettable season, reeling at the bottom of the ten-team points table.

Barring Virat Kohli and Dinesh Karthik, none of the RCB batters have stepped up to the occasion in the tournament.

However, their bowling department has been more disappointing, as they conceded the highest-ever team total in IPL history in the high-scoring face-off against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Regarding team news, the Red Brigade will miss Glenn Maxwell once again, as the Australian all-rounder has hinted at his unavailability for this game.

Furthermore, Mohammed Siraj, who missed out on the last game, might return to the playing XI to strengthen their bowling attack.

If he comes back, the Hyderabad speedster might replace Vyshak Vijaykumar, who had an ordinary day with the ball versus SRH.

Also, Saurav Chauhan, who has recorded three consecutive low scores, might lose his place, with Suyash Prabhudessai or Anuj Rawat likely to replace him.
