Melbourne Stars are all set to clash with the Sydney Thunder for the high stakes Knockout clash of BBL 14. Both teams have struggled to get this far in the tournament and will not spare an inch to advance to the next spot. With the match scheduled for January 22, in Sydney Showground Stadium, the match is set to start at 2:00 PM IST.

The last time these two teams clashed was in Match 14 of BBL 14 at Manuka Oval. In the match, Sydney Thunder bagged an 18-run victory over the Melbourne Stars. After being invited to bat first, Thunder posted a challenging total of 182/8 in their 20 overs. Opening batters Cameron Bancroft (21) and David Warner (19) provided a steady start, but it was wicketkeeper-batter Sam Billings who took charge, smashing a blistering 72 runs off just 39 balls.
