Tonight, Galle Marvels will lock horns with Jaffna Kings in the much-anticipated final of the ongoing Lanka Premier League. The high-voltage clash is scheduled at the iconic R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.

Led by Niroshan Dickwella, Galle Marvels were fabulous in the group-stage, occupying the top position with five victories in eight matches.

Jaffna Kings

On the other hand, Jaffna Kings are high on confidence following their thrilling one-run victory over Kandy Falcons in qualifier 2. They were the second-best team in the league stage and rightly qualified for the final against the top-placed Galle Marvels. 

Jaffna Kings are heavily reliant on their top four batters- Pathum Nissanka, Kusal Mendis, Rilee Rossouw and Avishka Fernando. 

Nevertheless, despite having an off season, skipper Charith Asalanka has the ability to perform under pressure, as he has done it several times for the national side. 

Furthermore, the presence of allrounders like Azmatullah Omarzai, the in-form Fabian Allen and Dhananjaya de Silva makes Jaffna Kings a more formidable side than their counterparts.
