The Gujarat Titans have performed brilliantly in their first two years of induction into the IPL. While they won their maiden title in their debut season, they finished as the runners up the second time around. The Titans will be looking to continue with their consistency in the tournament. 

In order to maintain the level of performance that they have displayed, GT went in with a good strategy in the IPL 2025 auction. They have assimilated a good squad which can do well in the tournament. We will be taking a look into the three biggest strengths of the team for the upcoming edition of the tournament. However, delving deeper into analysis of the squad, let us take a look at the complete squad of the Titans for IPL 2025.

A look at the GT line up gives us the idea that they have firepower throughout the line-up. While Jos Buttler and Shubman Gill are there at the top, while the English batter can provide dynamism at the top, Gill will give the solidity at the top spot. Following these two batters, there is Sai Sudharsan who can delivery consistently for the Titans.

Besides the two batters, the Titans have Sherfane Rutherford, Shahrukh Khan, Glenn Phillips in the middle-order. Thus we can see that there is enough firepower in the team through out the line-up. If their batters click, they will not have the problem of losing momentum in the middle overs.

2. Quality And Variety in Pace Attack

There are plenty of pacers who add depth, variety and dynamism to the bowling attack of the Titans. With Gerald Coetze, Kagiso Rabada and Mohammed Siraj, they have their new ball attack sorted. Ishant Sharma with his plethora of experience can contribute in this case too.

Besides a well sorted and solid new ball attack, they have pacers who can also be effective in the death overs. Rabada once again will be a leader in this case as he has a lot of varieties in his repertoire. Besides Rabada, Prasidh Krishna, Ishant Sharma and Kulwant Khejroliya can also come up with effective overs in the death phase.

1. Effective And Efficient Spin Bowlers

With Rashid Khan, Washington Sundar, Sai Kishore and Jayant Yadav in the squad the Titans boast of a very strong spin bowling attack. While Rashid Khan can change the game for the team from any stage, Sundar can be a very effective presence in the powerplays. 

Besides Rashid and Washington, there is Sai Kishore and Jayant Yadav who can help the team in the middle overs. Also, they have some great backup options in Manav Suthar, Nishant Sandhu and Glenn Phillips. With the line-up they have, the Titans will not have problems in case of depth, dynamism and variety in the spin department.
