Harry Brook rose to the top of the ICC Test rankings as he displaced his countrymen, Joe Root to become the number one ranked Test batter. Am English prodigy, Brook's rise in international cricket has been phenomenal.

In just 2 years time, he carved a name for himself and has become the undisputed best of his nation. His exploits at the international level was also witnessed by IPL franchises as Delhi Capitals roped him in their squad for 6.25 crore ahead of the next season.

With no Rishabh Pant in the side, Brook will be the key player for the Capitals and here are the reasons why he will be a trump card.

3) Brook is an aggressive batter and DC needs it

He is a naturally aggressive batter and DC needs it in their squad. He is someone who can take down the attack right from ball one. In Test cricket, he has shown his aggressive side and it has reaped him rewards.

With Rishabh Pant gone to LSG, the number 4 slot is vacant and Brook will be the one to play at this position. In the last one year, the Englishman has a strike-rate of over 140, playing at number 4 and will flourish in the league.

For SRH, he used to open, or used to bat at number 3, which wasn't his usual batting slot. However, DC have their top-3 sorted and as a result, they will most likely use Brook at Pant's position.
