Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will host Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the 32nd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 on Sunday, April 23rd at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru.

Royal Challengers Bangalore have had a somewhat inconsistent season, with three wins and as many losses in their first six matches. They swatted aside Punjab Kings by 24 runs in their most recent encounter and will be eager to continue in this vein.

Moving on, let’s take a look at the predicted playing XI:

Openers: Faf du Plessis, Virat Kohli

Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli have been the backbone of the Royal Challengers Bangalore's batting in the ongoing tournament. The South African batter has been the top scorer in the tournament so far, with a staggering 343 runs from six innings at an average of 68.60 and a strike rate of 166.50 while Virat Kohli is not far behind his partner, having scored 279 runs from six innings at an average of 55.80 and a strike rate of 142.35.

As they gear up for this match, both Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli will aim to give their team a strong start with the bat. Nevertheless, facing the formidable bowling unit of Rajasthan Royals won't be a walk in the park for them, and it'll be interesting to watch how they cope with the challenge.

Middle Order: Mahipal Lomror, Glenn Maxwell, Shahbaz Ahmed, Dinesh Karthik

The middle order of the Royal Challengers Bangalore might give fans some jitters, as apart from Glenn Maxwell, none of the players have shown much promise in the tournament so far.

While Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis have consistently given the team a solid start, the middle order has had little chance to bat and hasn't made much of an impact when given the opportunity. This game presents a big chance for all of them, including Dinesh Karthik, to step up and make a meaningful contribution to the team's success.

Bowlers: Wanindu Hasaranga, Suyash Prabhudessai, Harshal Patel, Wayne Parnell/Josh Hazlewood, Mohammed Siraj

While Mohammed Siraj has been in excellent form with the ball, the rest of the Royal Challengers Bangalore bowling attack may not be instilling much fear in the opposition. However, the team may receive a boost if Josh Hazlewood, who has been given the green light to play, makes an appearance in the next game.

As long as numbers are concerned, with 12 wickets in six matches, Siraj is comfortably sitting at the top of the wicket-taking charts in the tournament, with four of those wickets coming in the last game against Punjab Kings.

As for Harshal Patel, he has shown promise with his slower deliveries, but he is yet to deliver the kind of performance that fans have come to expect from him. Wanindu Hasaranga, on the other hand has struggled in the tournament so far, conceding runs at an economy rate of over 10 and taking just four wickets in three matches.

Predicted Playing XI of Royal Challengers Bangalore:
