With the series currently tied at 1-1, both teams will be looking to edge ahead and secure a crucial lead.
The Suryakumar Yadav-led Indian team started the series with a bang, securing a dominant 61-run win in the opening match. Their explosive performance had put South Africa on the back foot, but the Proteas hit back in the second T20I to level the series.
In the second encounter, India’s batting lineup faltered under pressure as they were restricted to an underwhelming 124 runs. South Africa’s bowlers, led by Lungi Ngidi and Gerald Coetzee, executed their plans to perfection, stifling India’s star-studded batting order.
With the series poised at 1-1, both teams have everything to play for in Centurion. A win here would give the victorious side an unassailable lead heading into the final game of the series on November 15.

South Africa clinched a thrilling three-wicket win over India in the second T20I at St. George's Park on November 10, 2024. Talking about the match, South Africa won the toss and opted to bowl first.
India's top order faced a tough outing, with the team managing a modest total of 124/6. Sanju Samson, coming off a stellar performance in the first T20I, was unfortunately dismissed for a duck this time. Abhishek Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav also struggled,and failed to contribute substantially with the bat.
The Indian innings was somewhat revived by Tilak Varma and Axar Patel, who made valuable contributions under pressure. However, it was Hardik Pandya who at the end tried to stabilise the innings together, remaining unbeaten with a gritty 39 off 45 balls.
In response, Tristan Stubbs played a match-winning knock to guide his side home. Despite India's bowlers putting up a strong fight, Stubbs' composed approach ensured South Africa reached the target with three wickets in hand.
