Gujarat Titans kicked off their IPL 2024 campaign with a stunning victory over the much-hyped Mumbai Indians, led by former GT captain Hardik Pandya, in a closely fought encounter.

GT secured a thrilling win by just 6 runs. Now, they are set to face the in-form Chennai Super Kings, who defeated RCB in the inaugural game of IPL 2024. As they transition from the lively Ahmedabad pitch to the slower track in Chennai, let's explore the potential changes that may occur in the GT side.

Gill made a positive debut as Gujarat captain, leading his team to victory against his former captain Hardik's side. Despite defending a relatively modest score compared to MI's batting strength, Gill showcased excellent captaincy by effectively rotating the bowlers and setting up the field to pressure MI's batters.

With both Rashid Khan and Sai Kishore performing well, there is uncertainty regarding the inclusion of Noor Ahmad, the hero of Gujarat's previous campaigns. However, considering the slower tracks of Chepauk, there is a possibility that all three spinners could feature in the playing XI.

Kane Williamson might find himself on the bench again, as Gujarat Titans are likely to stick with their winning combination, possibly with the exception of Noor Ahmed.

Skipper Gillis expected to open with veteran Saha once more. Man of the match against MI, Sai Sudharsan is likely to bat at number 3, followed by Vijay Shankar, Azmatullah Omarzai and David Miller alongside Tewatia and Rashid Khan.

Unfortunately, Sharukh Khan will have to sit out again, despite the game being played in his hometown. Meanwhile, Sai Kishore will play at Chennai, his hometown. Sai, Noor, and Umesh are likely to be the final three choices of Gill. Mohit Sharma could once again be the impact player if GT bats first.
