On Saturday, Peshawar Zalmi will take on Lahore Qalandars in match 17 of the ongoing Pakistan Super League season.
Having won three of their five encounters, the Zalmi are placed third in the points table. On the contrary, Lahore Qalandars have had a horrendous season, recording crushing defeats on six consecutive occasions.
Talking about Peshawar Zalmi, the Babar Azam-led side has had a roller-coaster ride in the PSL this season.
Although Babar and his opening partner, Saim Ayub, have come out with all guns blazing, keeper-batter Mohammad Haris has failed to live up to the expectations, managing only 46 runs in five outings at a mediocre average of 11.5.
However, as the Zalmi are on a three-match victorious streak, they might stick to the winning combination for this game. So, despite having a quiet season with the bat, Haris might get another chance to prove himself.
Meanwhile, Peshawar's middle order will likely comprise Haseebullah, Rovman Powell, Asif Ali and Paul Walter, with Luke Wood spearheading the pace attack alongside Naveen-ul-Haq and Salman Irshad.
Arif Yaqoob, who recently rattled Islamabad United with a sensational fifer, will play as the lead spinner.
