On Sunday, India will cross swords with Pakistan in T20 Asia Cup 2025 final on Sunday, September 28. The 17th edition of the Asia Cup, held every two years in T20 or ODI format, has seen eight teams compete, with India and Pakistan making it to the final at the Dubai International Stadium.

In 2023 Asia Cup which took place in Sri Lanka and Pakistan, according to Business Standard, the tournament champions received $200,000 (approximately ₹1.25 crore), while the runner-up took home $100,000 (around ₹82 lakh).
Semi-finalists earned $62,500 each, and smaller prizes were awarded to fourth and fifth place teams. Individual awards were also part of the competition, with the Player of the Match receiving $5,000 (around ₹4 lakh).

Asia Cup Prize Money in 2025
Fast forward to 2025, and the prize money has increased considerably. This year, the winning team is expected to receive $300,000 (around ₹2.6 crore), while the runners-up will get $150,000 (about ₹1.3 crore).
Individual awards have also risen significantly. The Player of the Tournament will receive ₹50 lakh, while the best batsman and best bowler of the tournament will each earn ₹25 lakh. Additionally, the Man of the Match in the final is set to earn ₹20 lakh.
