Aamer Jamal Out, Zaman Khan & Nawaz In; Here's PAK's Probable Playing XI For 2nd T20I vs NZ

On Friday, Pakistan kickstarted their New Zealand tour on a poor note, succumbing to a 46-run defeat in the first T20I against the hosts. Batting first, New Zealand posted a mammoth 226-run total on the board, thanks to scintillating knocks from Kane Williamson and Daryl Mitchell. In response, Pakistan were bundled out for 180 despite Babar Azam's fighting 35-ball 57.

So, moving on to the second game at Seddon Park in Hamilton, Pakistan seek redemption in order to restore parity. Besides sloppy fielding, the visitors were significantly disappointed with the poor outings of Usama Mir and Aamer Jamal. While Mir went for 51 runs in his four-over spell, Jamal conceded 55 runs to let his team down.

Therefore, we expect Pakistan to launch their pace bowling sensation Zaman Khan in this all-important fixture, swapping him with Jamal. If it happens, the visitors might also replace Usama Mir with ace all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz to ensure batting depth in their lineup.

Stylish southpaw Saim Ayub will continue to open alongside Mohammad Rizwan, followed by Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman, Iftikhar Ahmed and keeper-batter Azam Khan.

Skipper Shaheen Afridi will spearhead the pace attack along with Haris Rauf, Abbas Afridi and Zaman Khan.
