India boasts off a very strong domestic circuit. The domestic set up of Indian has given the nation some players who have later established themselves legends even in the highest level of the game. 

In the recent times, with the inception of IPL, the domestic structure has strengthened further. While some rare talents have got India call-ups and have showcased their talents, some players who have consistently performed in the domestic arena have somehow been ignored by the selection committee. Here are three legends of the Indian domestic circuit who never got a national selection. 

5. Baba Aparajith

Playing for Tamil Nadu, Baba Aparith has been an indispensable part of the team for the past five to six seasons. Besides being one of the prime batters of the team, Baba Aparijth has also been a very handy bowler for his team. He was also a part of a the Chennai Super Kings and Rising Pune Supergiants in the IPL for a couple of seasons, however, he did not get a chance to display his skills in the marquee league. Despite of having a very decent record in the domestic arena, Indrajith is yet to receive a national call up.

4. Sheldon Jackson

The wicketkeeper batter from Saurashtra had some impressive seasons in the domestic arena. Sheldon Jackson's brilliant show in the first class and List A games earned him a spot in the IPL, where he was apart of the KKR and RCB teams. However, Jackson failed to deliver as per expectations in the league and as a result failed to catch the eyes of the national selectors.

3. Jalaj Saxena

The all-rounder from Madhya Pradesh has been a legend of the Indian domestic circuit with. Not only a very effective bowler, Jalaj Saxena was also a very handy batter for his team. His great stints in the domestic arena earned him a place in the Indian Premier League. While he was a part of multiple teams in the league, Saxena managed to play only one match in the esteemed league. Gradually his performances in the domestic arena also went unnoticed and as a result the national call-up never came for the all-rounder.

2. Anustup Majumdar

The Bengal batter has been the mainstay of the team for quite some years now. From his initial days till now, the dusk of his career, Anustup Majumdar has time and again proven himself as a clutch performer. Be it under pressure or be it in the big games, this middle-order batter has delivered whenever the team has needed it off him. He also played a couple of seasons in the IPL but did not get enough chances to showcase his talents. However, Anustup's performances got mostly ignored by the national selectors and as a result he never received the much anticipated national call-up.
