After being put into bat, DC stumbled early as their star batter Fraser-McGurk fell for a duck. Abishek Porel (58 off 33) and Shai Hope (38 off 27) steadied the innings—Rishabh Pant's 33 off 23 and Tristan Stubbs' explosive 57 off 25 propelled DC to 208/4.

LSG's chase faltered from the start with Ishant Sharma dismantling the top order, including KL Rahul for five and Quinton de Kock for 12.

Nicholas Pooran's quickfire 61 off 27 and Arshad Khan's unbeaten 58 off 33 weren't enough as LSG ended at 189/9, falling 19 runs short.

Porel found a reliable partner in Shai Hope, and together they stitched a solid partnership, adding 92 runs for the second wicket. Hope's composed 38 off 27 balls provided the stability needed.

However, Ravi Bishnoi, with his knack for breakthroughs, dismissed Hope in the 9th over, breaking the promising stand.
