Pakistan's stylish young opener Saim Ayub has issued an update on his recovery status after failing to make it into the squad for the West Indies Tests. Saim, who grabbed a million eyeballs with his scintillating performances of late, sustained a nasty ankle injury while fielding during the recently concluded Test series against South Africa.
Considering Saim Ayub's red-hot recent form, the PCB selection committee is closely monitoring his progress, with the ICC Champions Trophy in the horizon. Pakistan haven't yet officially announced their squad and will certainly include the southpaw if he is declared fit in time.
Saim Ayub Speaks On His Recovery
As quoted by Cricket Pakistan, Saim Ayub is steadily recovering from the ankle injury; however, he is unsure about how long he needs to rehabilitate in order to get fitness clearance.

Will Saim Ayub Play 2025 Champions Trophy?
It's worth mentioning that the PCB hasn't yet confirmed Saim's participation in the upcoming Champions Trophy.
