India Women flip the script as future appears bright

Winning is only about lifting the World Cup, but changing perceptions, and beliefs, beyond that trophy.

The Indian Women's team has come close for years, worked hard and carried the hopes of a nation. Now they have turned that hope into reality.

With this victory, Harmanpreet Kaur and the rest of the team have ensured, women's cricket can never look the same in India again, it will now have greater support, bigger audiences, and more respect.
