'Whoever Beats India Will ..,' Michael Vaughan's Shocking Remark On WC 2023

The World Cup 2023 is in India, which is going to be a huge advantage for the Indian team considering they are quite familiar with the conditions. Team India is currently facing Australia in a three-match ODI series before they head to the World Cup. The former England cricketer, Michael Vaughan believes the team who will beat India, can win the World Cup.

In the ongoing second ODI, India have smashed 399 runs in their quota of 50 overs. With hundreds from Shreyas Iyer and Shubman Gill, and half-centuries from Suryakumar Yadav and KL Rahul, India have batted brilliantly in the first innings. 

Without Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya, the young blood of the Indian team is performing quite well. Well, not just the batting but the bowling has been impressive as well. 

Here's what Michael Vaughan tweeted:

"It’s quite clear to me .. Whoever beats India will win the World Cup .. 👍 #INDvAUS .. India’s batting lineup on Indian pitches is ridiculous .. Plus they have all the bowling options covered .. it’s the only the pressure of the burden that could stop them."

He believes that India have the suitable bowlers for each and every condition. In the past month, India have won the Asia Cup and the bowling performance was remarkable throughout the tournament. The Indian pitches are quite advantageous for the spinners and having Kuldeep Yadav in his prime and exceptional Ravindra Jadeja in the setup, India will be a tough opponent for every team in this upcoming World Cup.

With the support of the 1.4 billion Indians, Rohit Sharma and the company will be doing everything they can to make this tournament a memorable one.
