Virat Kohli's Latest Remarks Start Retirement Rumours
In the latest events, Virat Kohli, speaking to PTI, made a huge announcement on his Test future and revealed that he might not have another Australia in him. Notably, India suffered embarrassment against the baggy greens recently, where the Rohit Sharma-led side suffered a 1-4 series defeat.
Virat Kohli, despite a century, had a pathetic series with the bat and was at the centre of criticism, for getting out in a similar fashion. Notably, Virat had scored just 190 runs in nine innings, averaging 23.75.
In the latest events, Virat was asked about his performance in Australia, to which Kohli made the now-viral remark that has sparked his retirement rumours.
"I might not have another Australia tour in me, so I am at peace with whatever happened in the past: Kohli on his recent struggle in that part of the world," remarked Kohli.
When Is India Next Touring Australia?
Virat's remark at the event has left the fans worried, so it is better to see when will Australia tour India next and when are the Rohit Sharma-led side touring Down Under.
For the unversed, India will host Australia for a five-match Test series in January- February 2027. Thus, the fans need not worry as there is no India-Australia Test tour in recent future.
They do have an away white-ball series lined up later this year, but Virat has already announced his retirement from T20Is. Further, about India touring Australia for BGT, they are not visiting down Under for a BGT till 2028.
