Swastik Chikara celebrates his birthday with RCB (Source:@RCB,x.com)
In a light-hearted moment, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) youngster Swastik Chikara, during his 20th birthday celebrations, made a special request to Virat Kohli. As part of a fun-filled celebration with his RCB teammates, Chikara asked the star batter for two to three watches from his personal collection.
Swastik Chikara Makes Bold Requests To Virat Kohli
"Virat bhai se 2-3 ghadi gift karwa do" (Please get Virat Kohli to gift me 2-3 watches), Chikara said, looking directly at the camera. The humorous request was part of the jovial mood as Chikara’s playful personality took center stage once again. Watch the video here:
The fun didn't stop there. Chikara, known for his extroverted nature, continued his antics by biting Virat Kohli’s finger as the birthday cake was fed to him.
Kohli, laughing off the moment, jokingly asked, “Arey bhai ungli chhod meri!!” (Hey, let go of my finger!). The laughter from both players and the entire RCB squad made for a memorable moment on social media.
Will Swastik Chikara Make His RCB Debut?
It is important to mention that Swastik Chikara can get a chance to play in the XI in the upcoming games for RCB. The team saw the potential in him and signed him for INR 30 lakh at the 2025 IPL auction.
The rising star has numbers to back himself as well. He made his first-class debut in October against Bengal in the Ranji Trophy. In November, he made his debut in T20s during the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, but it wasn't his best performance.
In the UP T20 League, Swastik scored 494 runs for Meerut Mavericks, finishing as the second-highest run-scorer with three centuries. He improved in the following season, scoring 499 runs at a strike rate of 185.
