In a dramatic turn of events, Ayush Badoni was once again used as an Impact Player by Lucknow Super Giants despite batting first against Delhi Capitals in match 41 in Lucknow on Tuesday. The dynamic right-hander rose to the occasion, scoring a vital 36 off 21 balls in a tense situation, helping his side post a competitive total.

Notably, this marks the second successive game where Badoni has come in as an Impact Player as we saw him doing the same, scoring a match-winning half-century against Rajasthan Royals in Jaipur. Post-innings, Badoni revealed that the team is exploring strategic flexibility, keeping a spot open for pace sensation Mayank Yadav, who is yet to feature this season.
