'Team India Is Much Better': Yuvraj Singh's Father Backs Rohit Sharma & Co.

Former cricketer Yograj Singh is of the opinion that India is likely to emerge victorious against Pakistan in their inaugural match of the 2023 Asia Cup due to their superior skills and abilities. The Indian cricket squad is set to compete against Pakistan at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in the opening fixture of the Asia Cup 2023 this Saturday. 

Cricket fans all around the globe are anxiously awaiting the much-anticipated showdown between India and Pakistan. This forthcoming contest will contribute yet another thrilling episode to the long-standing and historic rivalry between these two teams as they collide in the Asia Cup on September 2nd.


Here's what Yograj Singh told ANI 

"If we compare the Indian and Pakistan teams then I think that Team India is much better and it's difficult to defeat Team India. Our players have been playing professional and competitive Cricket throughout but Pakistan doesn't have such players...I don't think that anybody can defeat Team India owing to our team at this point in time."

Before the highly anticipated match, there's some good news for fans regarding the showdown at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium. As per latest reports, there is light drizzle to persist during the game, however, on a greater note the match is likely to go on without too much hassle. As of, 1:55pm IST the first covers have also been removed.

Prior to the match, India's captain, Rohit Sharma, engaged with the media on Friday and openly acknowledged that he had been playing a style of cricket that involved taking higher risks in the past. He emphasized the need to strike the "correct" balance in his game during the upcoming Asia Cup 2023.

Rohit mentioned that it's essential for him to find equilibrium in his playing approach and make calculated decisions, especially when considering risk, as the team relies on him to construct substantial innings.
