One of the recet big success for the Indian men's team in cricket has been their Champions Trophy 2025 win. While there were many heroes in that campaign, Shreyas Iyer was the standout performer for them. With 243 runs in five matches, Iyer emerged as the highest run-scorer for his team and delivered in almost all the cases where the team needed him the most.

But as it turns out, not only will the PBKS skipper soon be a part of India's T20I plans, but he will also break through and earn a place in the squad for the upcoming World Cup 2026. Additionally, he will soon become an important member of the leadership core of the team.

The astrologer further added that Iyer's chart is so powerful for 2027 that he would play a big role for the team in the ODI World Cup scheduled that year. Lobo has even hinted that Shreyas could get a leadership role for the tournament.

These predictions are quite significant given there have been recent rumours that, the BCCI might be thinking about handing over the captaincy role in the ODI format to Shreyas Iyer.
