'Several Dubious DRS Decisions...' – Kamran Akmal Makes Serious Allegations On India

After Hasan Raza, another former cricketer from Pakistan, Kamran Akmal questions the DRS calls that were made in the India-South Africa clash. Team Pakistan, who are struggling to qualify for the semifinals, and their former cricketers are making new allegations against India every day.

Since India decided not to go to Pakistan for the Asia Cup 2023, the Pakistani media and even some former cricketers are using baseless excuses to blame the Indian team and the BCCI. Whether it is the issue with passports or giving tougher pitches to the Pakistan team, they have tried it all.

On the other hand, Team India are cruising their way to the semifinals with eight straight wins in eight games. There were some allegations about the ball as well, that the Indian team is getting a different ball that tends to swing more. These allegations were from Hasan Raza, who was a former Pakistan player.

After Heinrich Klaasen's dismissal, the umpire had to reverse his decision. On the Pakistan media channel, Kamran Akmal is asking that the DRS system be checked as there are a lot of dubious decisions taken with DRS in the World Cup 2023.

Here's what Kamran Akmal said about the dismissal and DRS in this World Cup:

Ravindra Jadeja, who bowled a brilliant spell and picked up a five-wicket haul, convinced the captain, Rohit Sharma, to take DRS on the call against Heinrich Klaasen.

Kamaran Akmal shared his views on that delivery, saying the ball was pitching on the 4th or 5th stump with the naked eye. Azhar Ali, who was sitting right next to him on the panel, agreed that there have been many dubious decisions taken with DRS.

"This ball was pitching on the fourth or fifth stump from the naked eye, and there have been several dubious DRS decisions in this World Cup."
