Just when team Australia managed to pull their socks in the World Cup 2023 after losing the first two games, a few players are missing out on the matches due to uncertain reasons. After Mitchell Marsh who missed out on the last game, now Steve Smith is doubtful for their clash against Afghanistan tomorrow.

Even though Australia are in a good position having won their last five games, they could not afford to lose against the Afghanistan team as it might shake their chances of getting into the semifinals.

Firstly, Mitchell Marsh went back home due to the demise of his grandfather but now he has joined the team and might be playing tomorrow's game against Afghanistan. But now Steve Smith is not feeling good ahead of tomorrow's clash.

Smith has been experiencing symptoms of vertigo which is not new to him as he has experienced the same in the past as well. He said that he had been experiencing episodes of vertigo for the last two days.

Here's what Steve Smith said about his feeling of discomfort:

"I've had a bit of vertigo stuff for the last day or so. It's a bit annoying. Hopefully I can get through training and I'm all good. But it's not a nice place to be."

This is not the first time he has had the symptoms of vertigo. While playing the ODI against India two years ago, a doctor treated him for the same on the morning of the game and he went on to score a hundred.

"I think I'll be ok. I'm not feeling great at present. I've had a few episodes. I can tell you it's not a fun space to be in. But I'll go out and have a hit hopefully I'm ok."

With just two league matches remaining, team Australia would look to capitalise and get ready for the semifinals of the tournament.
