Sanju Samson has addressed the ongoing speculation regarding his inconsistent opportunities with the Indian cricket team. The gifted wicketkeeper-batsman from Kerala, who has dazzled in domestic cricket and the IPL, has often found himself benched or omitted despite his performances.

Despite his strong showings, including a notable century against South Africa, Sanju Samson has faced limited chances at the international level. The debate surrounding his selection inconsistencies has been intense, with fans and experts expressing frustration.

Samson has often been included in T20I squads during ODI tournaments and vice versa, highlighting a recurring pattern that fuels uncertainty about his role.

In a recent interaction on Zee TV, Samson was asked about his thoughts on the frequent changes in his selection. He responded with a calm demeanor, focusing on his approach to the situation.

The 29-year-old batter emphasized his satisfaction with the team's performance and his commitment to contribute whenever required.

He remarked, "When they call me to play, I go and play. If not, it's okay. I don't overthink it. The team is doing well, so there's no issue."

Samson also outlined his career aspirations, stressing his dedication to improving his game.

"I want my career to move forward, so I concentrate on improving my game and focusing on what's within my control," he said.

Despite a strong performance in his last ODI, where he scored 108 runs off 114 balls, Samson was overlooked for the Sri Lanka series. The team's subsequent loss in the ODI series underlined the ongoing scrutiny of his exclusion.
