On August 11, Jemimah Rodrigues took to Instagram to share a heartfelt post, marking the conclusion of a spectacular 17-day celebration. In the post, she is seen posing gracefully on the lush grass of a cricket ground, with nets subtly visible in the background.

Draped in a specially designed Indian jersey crafted for the mega event, Jemimah embodied pride and enthusiasm, perfectly capturing the moment's essence.

Jemimah, who recently played her 100th T20I during the Women's Asia Cup 2024 final against Sri Lanka, showcased her unyielding support for India's contingent at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Her caption reflected her admiration for the jersey and eagerness to don the national colors at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. "Loved wearing this current Indian Olympic jersey. Can't wait to play cricket for India at the Olympics soon!! Man, what a feeling that'd be!" she expressed, capturing the excitement of the occasion.

She also echoed the collective sentiment of the nation, praising Indian athletes for their passion, commitment, persistence, and grit. “Our Indian athletes have shown tremendous passion, commitment, persistence, and grit! Win or lose, we're proud of you,” she wrote, emphasizing her unwavering support.

India secured six medals at the 2024 Olympics—five Bronze and one Silver. Meanwhile, the Indian women's cricket team, despite their Asia Cup final defeat, is now focused on preparations for the upcoming T20 World Cup in September, where Jemimah scored 74 runs in four innings.
