Australian seamer Josh Hazlewood anticipates a formidable challenge against India in the 2023 World Cup final on Sunday at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The right-arm seamer emphasized that India exhibit no discernible weaknesses and have effectively addressed every aspect leading up to the final.

Australia secured a spot in the 2023 World Cup final by defeating South Africa by three wickets at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Thursday, November 16. Hazlewood played a pivotal role by dismissing Quinton de Kock and Rassie van der Dussen, restricting the Proteas to 212. In response, despite some hiccups, Australia chased down the target to secure the win, sealing their place in the final.

The formidable Indian team has already advanced to the finals after overcoming New Zealand in the semi-final. The impending clash between these cricketing giants promises to be an exhilarating spectacle.

Hazlewood remarked,"I think they're all across the board really. They've got good quicks, good spinners, good batters, so they're ticking every box. I guess we saw a few cracks when we played them in Chennai chasing a small target, we were lucky enough to get a couple early. But there's no real weaknesses as we've seen."

The last time India and Australia clashed in the World Cup was almost two decades ago in South Africa in 2003, where the Aussies outperformed the Indian team.

In their recent encounter during the World Cup league stage at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, the Rohit Sharma-led side secured a convincing six-wicket win. Australia's decision to bat first during that game backfired, managing to score a modest 199.
