Following Pakistan's crushing defeat against India in the Super 4 clash of the Asia Cup 2025, former Pakistan captain and ex-Prime Minister Imran Khan has delivered strong comments on the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

Speaking from jail through his sister, Aleema Khan, he sarcastically suggested that PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi and Army Chief General Asim Munir should open the batting if Pakistan wants any chance of beating India, as quoted by PTI.

His remarks followed a one-sided match where India thrashed Salman Ali Agha’s side in the Super 4 clash at the Dubai International Stadium, chasing down the target with six wickets to spare.

It is also important to mention that Imran Khan did not just stop here; he also turned his sarcasm toward Pakistan’s judiciary institutions. According to Aleema Khan, Imran also stated that if Pakistan truly wanted to win, they should appoint Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa and Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja as on-field umpires, and Islamabad High Court Chief Justice Sarfaraz Dogar as the third umpire.

IND vs PAK: Non-Stop Controversy

Following India’s dominant back-to-back wins over Pakistan, the 'Men In Green' have faced growing scrutiny for their off-field behaviour. It all started with the first group-stage match between India and Pakistan on September 14.

After winning the match, the Indian team and the players refused post-match handshakes in protest of the Pahalgam terror attack. This act by them led Naqvi to complain to the ICC, blaming referee Andy Pycroft.

In the Super 4 match, Pakistan player Haris Rauf, during the game, gestured '6-0' and made mock 'jet down' signals referencing Operation Sindoor.

Pakistan now faces Sri Lanka in a near do-or-die Super 4 match on Tuesday, September 23, at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
