Indian cricket captain Rohit Sharma has shed light on his dependence on his wife, Ritika Sajdeh, in handling his social media accounts and commercial commitments. Rohit, who is gearing up to lead the Indian cricket team in the upcoming World Cup 2023, revealed that he has consciously stayed away from Twitter and Instagram for the past nine months, considering them distractions that consume valuable time and energy.


Here is what Rohit Sharma emphasised

"I don't have Twitter or Instagram on my phone for the past 9 months - if we have to do any commercial post, my wife handles it - these are distractions - it's waste of time & energy - so I have decided not to have it on my phone because if it's there - I will watch it". 

Ritika Sajdeh, a sports manager herself, plays a pivotal role in managing Cornerstone Sport & Entertainment, where she oversees prominent cricketers, including her husband Rohit. Her efficiency in handling Rohit's social media and commercial commitments allows him to focus entirely on cricket.

In terms of on-field action, Rohit Sharma's team recently had a warm up match scheduled against the Netherlands at the Greenfield International Stadium. However, the match was called off due to heavy rain, and now the Indian team is eagerly preparing for the World Cup 2023, with their opening match slated for October 8th against Australia.
