However, amidst the intensity of the match, a rather unusual and light-hearted moment unfolded during the 25th over. Glenn Maxwell, the explosive Australian batter, took to the crease, attempting to hit a boundary. At that moment, Hasan Ali, a prominent Pakistani cricketer, was stationed on the field as part of the fielding unit.

In a hilarious turn of events, Hasan Ali decided to employ his football skills on the cricket field. Instead of using his hands to stop the ball, he playfully used his leg to deflect it. The video capturing this playful moment quickly went viral across social media platforms, amusing cricket fans worldwide.

Even the commentators on-air could not resist herself from speaking about the Pakistan fielder's football skills. She said: "Geez, that is some footy skills."

Hasan may have saved a couple of runs on that instance; however, their fielding efforts in the ongoing fixture was extremely amateur as the fielders were sloppy on multiple occasions. Even Indian opener, Shikhar Dhawan, took a moment and shared a fixture of their hysterical efforts.
