Team India's collective performance against Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2025 final was commendable. With the victory, the Men in Blue won their ninth Asia Cup title in 17 editions. The anticipation before the contest was super high, but nobody had expected a last-over thriller in the final.

Thanks to Shivam Dube, Tilak Varma, and Sanju Samson for stitching partnerships that helped India win the match. Speaking to the broadcasters, Dube and Varma revealed the real reason behind their rage throughout the game.

Shivam Dube's witty reply after knocking down Pakistan

The Indian batters looked troubled when they lost their top-order batters for 20 runs in the power play. However, Samson, Varma, and Dube handled the innings with a lot of maturity, which eventually helped India win the match.  After the victory, Dube and Varma revealed that Pakistan players were making verbal comments, so instead of replying with words, the batters chose their bat to do the talking.

"I think my bat did the talking, so they didn't get a chance to speak, that's it," said Shivam Dube.

Replying to him, Tilak Varma said, "I am also of the same opinion, they were saying a lot from the start, I just showed them with the bat, they aren't visible on the field now."

Team India denied the Asia Cup 2025 trophy

The Indian team returned home trophyless despite winning the Asia Cup 2025 against Pakistan. After the match ended, the players waited eagerly for the trophy until they realized that Pakistan Cricket Association Chairman (PCB) Mohsin Naqvi was ready to give the trophy to the winning team.

Suryakumar Yadav and Co. denied the Asia Cup trophy and held the victory celebrations without it. He even imitated Rohit Sharma's T20 World Cup 2024 trophy celebration with the team. While it was a wholesome moment for the Indian fans, the India-Pakistan controversy has arisen significantly.
