'Maaro Bhai, Dono Maarenge' - Pant Recalls His Bond With Samson Ahead Of DC-RR Clash

Sanju Samson and Rishabh Pant are two of the most highly rated wicketkeeper batters in Indian cricket and much to the delight of their fans, both of them have been selected in the Indian team for T20 World Cup 2024. 

Sanju is currently leading RR in IPL 2024 while Pant is the captain of Delhi Capitals and ahead of the clash between the two teams, Pant has talked about his bond with Sanju Samson when the current RR skipper was part of Delhi Daredevils in IPL 2016 and 2017.

Pant mentioned that he has great chemistry with Sanju Samson and shared an interesting anecdote as well. Rishabh stated that once when both of them were batting together, Sanju ashed Pant that what should be their gameplan and in reply, the southpaw answered that let's just smash the balls together.

"Sanju Samson and I had a great chemistry together. During DD time, Sanju once came and asked what would be the gameplan. I said 'Maaro bhai, dono maarege (my brother, we'll both smash)."

Both Pant and Sanju Samson are naturally aggressive cricketers, and were just starting at that time. They have come a long way since then, and let's see how both of them go about their business in the rest of the IPL and the all-important T20 World Cup coming up.
