Cameron Green seems to be enjoying his time at the RCB camp this IPL 2024 season. While the burly Australian all-rounder picked up two key CSK wickets in his debut for the franchise last week, the cricketer also pounded 33 rapid runs against KKR in a sizzling partnership with Virat Kohli.

Back in November 2023, Green was drafted into the RCB group through an all-cash deal from the Mumbai Indians setup. The young Australian star spent much time under the leadership of Rohit Sharma during his IPL debut last season, where he put up an exceptional all-round exhibition by stacking 452 runs and claiming six wickets.

As Green braces himself up for RCB’s subsequent IPL 2024 challenge, the cricketer recently expressed his admirations for both Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, and signified their values for the team.

During a recent RCB press conference, Cameron Green expressed his admirations for teammate Virat Kohli and former Mumbai Indians colleague Rohit Sharma.

The cricketer described the duo as two of the greats of the game, who are “equally happy” in contributing for the benefits of the team. Cameron Green said:

“Obviously both are greats of the game. Every time I think about it, I think I am lucky enough to play with two of the greats of cricket not just Indian cricket. What makes them great is that they are both similar. They are equally happy to help the team. They will give their time and share their experiences in what has worked and what has not. I am happy to share the dressing room with them.”

Cameron Green recently plundered 33 off 21 balls and shared a crucial 65-run partnership with Virat Kohli against KKR at Bengaluru. The RCB, however, succumbed to a huge seven-wicket defeat in the high-scoring game off the back of Sunil Narine’s blitzkrieg and Venkatesh Iyer’s half-century.

Green and Virat Kohli will now turn up for the RCB franchise in their subsequent IPL 2024 challenge against the Lucknow Super Giants. The match will be staged in Bengaluru on April 2.
